My Gmail MCP Privacy Policy

Effective October 26, 2026

This policy describes how My Gmail MCP handles data from Google accounts. The application is used only by its developer, Michael Rubenstein, with email accounts he owns. It is not offered to the public.

Data the application accesses

With the account owner's authorization through Google sign-in, the application uses the Gmail API to access the contents of connected mailboxes, including messages, attachments, drafts and labels, and to send email on the owner's behalf.

How the data is used

Data is used only to carry out actions the account owner requests, such as searching, reading, drafting, labeling or sending email, through the owner's AI assistant. Data is not used for advertising, profiling, or any other purpose.

Where the data is stored

The application runs only on the owner's own computer. Google authorization tokens are stored on that computer and are readable only by the owner's user account. The application does not operate a server and does not copy email data to any database or cloud service. Content the owner chooses to work on with the AI assistant is processed by that assistant under its provider's own terms.

Sharing

Data obtained from Google accounts is not sold, rented, or shared with any third party.

Google API Services User Data Policy

The application's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Revoking access and deleting data

Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/connections. Deleting the application's local token files removes all stored authorization data.
